Good Handling of AS3 and understanding why AS3 is more powerful than Java
(closures, dynamic typing, functions as first class objects).
Able to write performant, clean and reusable code.
Knows his way around the basic toolset: shell, svn, editor of choice
Can code in more than one language: Actionscript, Javascript, PHP
(extra bonus for python and Objective- C)
Has experience in other stacks (backend, desktop app, etc)
Knows what design patterns are, when to use them, but find it
annoying that some people think they are the solution to everything.
Wishes he could do more unit testing on his daily work.

Build the core and most difficult part of the website (difficult 3d
visualization, computer graphics, games).

You will build prototypes to test new ideas and direct the creative team
Mentor junior developers
Try out new technologies : write an iPhone App, a  Facebook
application, a mapping applications with out of the box mashups.
